But that`s when the behind the deck magic occurs - the duo form an inspirational team and push each other to the next level. Before teaming up for Housequake, Rogier van Bueren and Erick Eerdhuijzen had already made it to the top of the club scene domestically. Erick`s success story as a DJ began at Amsterdam`s legendary Roxy club in the mid 90s, and he has never looked back, quickly gaining a reputation that makes him inextricably linked with dance music. Studio-wise Erick has proved himself too, with top 40 hits Boogie Down and Make You Smile on Little Mountain and Work Recordings.
Roog is unquestionably Holland`s most popular house DJ, consistently delivering pure uncompromising soulful dance grooves. His long-awaited production breakthrough came in 2003 with Hardsoul (Roog with Greg), due to the quality deep soul-track Back Together, featuring house legend Ron Carroll. This led to international production successes, with Roog regularly releasing on the cream of international dance labels, such as the UK`s Defected label. Roog also has time to run Hardsoul Pressings and R+G Electronics.
