Andrei Russo has been into music all his life, starting his musical career as a pop drummer at the age of 15 before moving onto percussion. On completion of his study at the world renowned Conservatory in Hilversum, he toured as a percussionist with a show band in Brazil and South Africa.
 
An extremely versatile producer, Andrei has significantly expanded his musical boundaries over the years, even taking in Big Band Swing and Pop, right through to Theatre and Latin American music. He has also given drum lessons and percussion workshops in his spare time.

Andrei's successful production collaboration “Cashmer Sensual” with DJ D-Rashid and DJ Madskillz, the so-called "pionier of Latinhouse" in the Netherlands, ensures a real climax everywhere it is played. The duo of Andrei and D-Rashid, who have been together for eight years, played at all the top Dutch festivals and events including Dance Valley, Lowlands, Innercity, Racism Beat It, Latin Village and Mysteryland. The boys have also completed a tour with Bacardi Bat Beats throughout the country.

Andrei Russo is a highly-skilled and creative performer who has had a hectic summer, taking in gigs as far away as Suriname and Brazil, and performing alongside top DJs such as Roog, Chuckie and Rishi Romero. Watch out for this rising star in the coming months!
